Responsibilities:

The Youth Choir Director is enthusiastic and excited about sharing the love of Christ with our young people through music. This position reports directly to the Campus Pastor.  This position provides an opportunity to grow the youth choir and assist with implementing the vision of the Saint Paul’s Baptist Church Fine Arts program. This person must have a love for music and for young people.  This individual exhibits a personal manner and appearance that encourages a favorable response from the youth, colleagues and parents. This is a part-time position, which includes weeknight rehearsal with the Youth Choir, worship occasions when the Youth Choir performs and other special activities of the Youth Choir.

DIRECTIONAL LEADER FOR BUILDING & GROUDS (FULL-TIME)

BELT CAMPUS - RICHMOND, VA

Responsbilities: 

The Directional Leader for Building and Grounds assures the optimal functioning of building systems, including mechanical, fire/life safety, elevators, etc. for all SPBC locations.  Responsible for the coordination of maintenance, housekeeping, grounds, equipment and capital improvement projects of SPBC’s facilities and oversees parking and other related activities for events at SPBC facilities.  The position requires knowledge and physical labor to completing preventive maintenance and repairs. WEEKEND AVAILABILITY IS A MUST! DIRECTIONAL LEADER FOR CHILDREN & YOUTH (FULL-TIME)

CREIGHTON CAMPUS - RICHMOND/PETERSBURG, VA

Responsibilities:

The Directional Leader for Children and Youth will provide overall leadership in facilitating the development and execution of a strategic plan that serves to attract children, youth, and their parents to Saint Paul’s Baptist Church and ultimately to a saving faith in Jesus Christ and a growing relationship with him. Develops and facilitates an intentional process to recruit, train, orient and coach group leaders as they equip parents with tools and resources to support the spiritual development of their children and youth.

Specific duties include:

Partners with staff and group leaders to plan, develop, offer and evaluate weekend worship celebrations, weekday and weekend bible study, and other age-appropriate programs and events designed to promote the spiritual growth and development of children and youth.

Partners with group leaders (student and parents) and the Directional Leader for Event Collaboration to host events in the community and plan strategic events on campus to invite and introduce children, youth, and their parents to the Saint Paul’s Baptist Church.

Fosters leader development in partnership with other directional leaders by offering regular feedback, providing appropriate recognition, celebrating group success, affirming ministry partners (internal and external), evaluating and offering recommendations to improve the effectiveness of our current systems, and offering prayerful next step recommendations in the development of our small group culture as it supports children, youth and their parents.

Provides on-going support, coaching, vision, and direction to group leaders through monthly meetings and one-on-one meetings as needed.

Responsibilities:

Enhances the effectiveness of the Ministry team by providing administrative support to the Directional Leaders of the Saint Paul’s Baptist Church. This position requires flexibility in scheduling, to include the ability to attend evening or weekend meetings, events and worship services. 


AUDIO TECHNICIAN (PART-TIME)

CREIGHTON CAMPUS – HENRICO, VA

Responsibilities: 

Ensures all sound equipment functions smoothly during all worship services. Responsible for front of the house mix as well as onstage monitoring mixes. Responsible for stage or room set up of audio equipment according to the needs of service or production. Serves as the lead in setup and tear down of stage equipment utilizing the workshop order sheet. Conducts sound checks with guest artists, choirs, or musicians. Responsible for mix sound inputs or feeds. Edits audio material before and after productions. Arrives one hour prior to service or event when scheduled to work. 

Job Requirements: 

High School Diploma (or GED) is required. 

Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience is required. 

Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds on a regular basis. 


ASSISTANT COOK (PART-TIME)

CREIGHTON CAMPUS – RICHMOND, VA

Responsibilities: 

Responsible for the sanitary handling and preparation of food. Prepares and serves all sautéed, fried, grilled, steamed, and baked items as per standardized recipes. Plans food production to coordinate with meal serving hours, so that excellence, quality, temperature, and appearance of food is preserved. Determines amount and type of food and supplies required for daily menus. Ensures that supplies are obtained from storeroom in adequate time for meal production; Monitors temperatures of food items going onto buffet line. Replaces food items on buffet line as they get low. Maintains kitchen work areas, dining room, and restaurant equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition. WEEKEND AVAILABILITY IS A MUST! BOOKSTORE DIRECTIONAL LEADER (PART-TIME)

Responsbilities: 

The Bookstore Manager is responsible for the overall daily operations associated with the Belt Campus bookstore including but not limited to cash handling responsibilities, product merchandise and inventory, as well as greeting and assisting bookstore guests with sales, inquiries and issues.
