COMFORT & CARE
One of the ways in which we show we care is by finding hurts and healing them. During challenging times, we are here to help by coming along side you to encourage, support and stand with you, and to say no matter what you are going through, you are not alone.
BARNABAS COUNSELING
Barnabas counseling ministry is a confidential, Christian-based pastoral care and counseling ministry offered to all who are in need. At one time or another we all need the help of others to see our way through a difficult time. Whether your struggle is emotional, relational, or spiritual we are here for you and want to help in whatever way we can. We offer pastoral counseling services for individuals, couples, children, and youth.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. - 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Stephen Ministers are not counselors but are congregation members who are trained to provide high quality, one to one, Christ-centered long-term care to people who are hurting. If you are experiencing life difficulties such as grief, divorce, job loss, chronic or terminal illness or relocation a Stephen minister can provide you with comfort & support.
Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ - Galatians 6:2, NRSV
CARE & SUPPORT GROUPS
We also have care groups available to join at any time. These groups provide a safe place for you to share, heal and grow with trained facilitators and others who are going through the same life struggle. Discover help on the path through grief toward healing, recovery and hope for the future. If you are seeking a place where you will receive care and support consider connecting with one of our virtual care groups today. For more information or to join, email us at or call 804.643.6177.
