A wedding is a happy and holy occasion. As two people join their lives to establish a Christian home, the church rejoices with them and is eager to help make the wedding reverent, beautiful and memorable. The true beauty of a wedding lies in the spirit and attitude of those who take part.
Your wedding ceremony is the culmination of one of the richest and happiest times you have experienced to this point in your life. With the exception of your relationship with Christ, this is the beginning of the most lasting relationship you will ever have – your marriage.
The scripture tells us that marriage was instituted by God (Genesis 2:18-24), that it is to be a permanent bond (Matthew 19:6), that it is to be centered in love and obedience (Ephesians 5:21-33), that believers and unbelievers are not to be bonded together (2 Corinthians 6:14) and a man’s greatest treasure is his wife - she is a gift from the Lord (Proverbs 18:22, CEV).
Your wedding is a sacred occasion. It will be most meaningful to you and your families and friends when there is careful planning. For that reason, the following policies and guidelines will govern your plans for your wedding at The Saint Paul’s Baptist Church. We sincerely believe these guidelines to be most suitable and practical for all concerned.
The best assurance of a beautiful wedding is preparation which is essential to ensure that a wedding service flows smoothly. The Wedding Services Ministry will do everything possible to assure the beauty and sacredness of the day, as well as to ensure that wedding preparations proceed as planned. We pride ourselves in helping couples cover all the details.
Feel free to contact our Wedding Services Ministry today – and begin your planning.
